- 1/4 cupAlmond flour
- 1/8 cupGrated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbspCoconut flour
- 1/2 tspGarlic salt
- 6String cheese
- 1-2 inchesOil, for frying
BMethod
- Halve the string cheese to create 12 pieces.
- Whisk egg with 1 tablespoon water in a small bowl.
- Combine almond flour, parmesan, coconut flour, and garlic salt in another bowl.
- Dip cheese pieces in egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in flour mixture.
- Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
- Heat 1-2 inches of oil in deep skillet to 350°F.
- Carefully place cheese sticks in oil without crowding the pan.
- Fry 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer to paper towel-lined plate to drain. Serve hot with marinara.
