Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data KetoDial (ketodial.com) collects, how we use it, and your rights. We wrote it in plain English because nobody reads legalese.

What We Collect

When you use the free calculator, we don't require any personal information. The calculation runs in your browser.

If you choose to purchase a report, we collect:

• Name and email address. So we can deliver your reports and follow up if there's an issue.
• Health information you enter voluntarily. This includes age, sex, height, weight, activity level, health conditions, symptoms, medications, dietary preferences, and your stated goals. You choose what to share. We use it only to generate your personalized reports.
• Payment information. Credit card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number.

How We Store Your Data

Your purchase data (name, email, health inputs) is stored as metadata on your Stripe checkout session. Your reports are generated on demand from this metadata and delivered via email.

Calculator session data (form inputs, device type, referral source) is stored in Supabase, a cloud database hosted on encrypted servers. This data is pseudonymous and not linked to your identity unless you complete a purchase.

How We Use Your Data

• To generate and deliver your reports. That's the main thing.
• To send you your results via email. We use Resend as our email delivery service. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering your reports.
• To improve the product. We may look at aggregate, anonymized patterns (like which reports are most popular, or common health conditions selected) to make KetoDial better. We don't sell this data or share individual records.

Analytics & Google Signals

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Signals enabled to understand how people use the site. GA4 collects standard information like pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (country/region level). GA4 does not have access to your health inputs or report data.

With Google Signals enabled, if you are signed into your Google account and have "Ads Personalization" turned on, Google may associate your visit with your account to provide cross-device reporting and audience insights. This data is used to help us understand how visitors interact with KetoDial across devices and sessions.

How to opt out: You can manage your data via Google's My Activity, use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or disable Ads Personalization in your Google Ads Settings.

Calculator Usage Data

When you use the free calculator, we collect the inputs you provide (such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level, dietary goals, and diet type) along with pseudonymous technical data including your referral source, UTM campaign parameters, landing page URL, device type, and browser analytics identifiers. This data is stored on our servers and used for aggregate product analytics and service improvement. We retain this data for up to 26 months. This data is not linked to your name or email address unless you make a purchase.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, you're interacting directly with Stripe's secure payment form. We receive confirmation that you paid and which products you purchased, but we never handle your card details.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Period. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health data to third parties. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Third Parties Who Receive Your Data

• Stripe processes your payment and stores your checkout metadata (which includes the form data you entered).
• Resend delivers your report emails. They receive your email address and the report content.
• Google Analytics receives anonymized browsing data (not your health inputs).
• Pinterest receives conversion events (like page visits and signups) via the Pinterest tag, so we can see whether our Pinterest pins bring visitors who actually use the site. It never receives your health inputs or report data.
• Supabase stores your calculator session data (form inputs, technical metadata) on encrypted servers for analytics and service delivery.
• Cloudflare delivers the site and may process technical data (IP address, browser headers) to protect against attacks and ensure availability.

That's the complete list. No one else gets your data.

Cookies

We use cookies for Google Analytics (including Google Signals for cross-device reporting) and basic site functionality. We also use the Pinterest tag to measure whether visitors from our Pinterest pins go on to use the calculator or sign up — see "Third Parties Who Receive Your Data" above. Google Signals may use data from signed-in Google users who have consented to ads personalization.

Emails We Send

If you sign up for the 30-Day Keto Starter series or the KetoDial newsletter, here's the deal:

• What you'll get: The starter series is a set of emails over your first 30 days of keto. The newsletter is an occasional roundup of new recipes, guides, and tools.
• Who sends it: Emails come from ketodial@carnivoreweekly.com through Resend, our email delivery service. KetoDial is run by the same small team that operates Carnivore Weekly, which is why the sending domain is carnivoreweekly.com.
• What we track: Like most senders, we track delivery, opens, and clicks so we know what's useful. This data stays with us and Resend.
• Leaving: Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Want your address deleted entirely, not just unsubscribed? Email support@carnivoreweekly.com and we'll remove it.

AI-Assisted Content and Reports

KetoDial content is produced with a combination of human editorial direction and AI tools. A real human sets the direction and reviews the output; AI language models help with research synthesis, drafting, and generating your personalized reports within human-defined guidelines. For paid reports, the health inputs you enter are sent to the AI provider solely to generate your report. We don't send your payment information or email address to AI models.

Data Retention

Pseudonymous calculator session data is retained for up to 26 months for analytical purposes. Report access links expire after 48 hours. Transaction records (email, amount paid, payment status) are retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or ask questions about how it's used. Just email support@carnivoreweekly.com and we'll handle it within a few business days.

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. We respect all of them. Same email, same response time.

Children

KetoDial is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our site, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll make a note on the homepage.
