- 2 tbspunsalted butter, melted (bread)
- 6 tbspblanched almond flour (bread)
- 2 tsppsyllium husk powder (bread)
- 1 tspbaking powder (bread)
- 1 pinchsea salt (bread)
- 2large eggs (bread)
- 2large eggs (custard)
- 1 tbspheavy cream (custard)
- 1 tspcinnamon (custard)
- 1 tspvanilla extract (custard)
- 2 tsppowdered monk fruit sweetener
- 2 tbspunsalted butter (cooking)
BMethod
- Make 90-second bread: mix bread ingredients in a ramekin, microwave 90 seconds. Cool completely.
- Slice bread into 8 triangles.
- Whisk custard ingredients in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each triangle, coating both sides.
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
- Cook 60-90 seconds per side until golden.
Dial-in tip
The bread MUST be completely cool before slicing or it falls apart. Make the bread the night before for even better results. Top with sugar-free maple syrup or a dusting of powdered sweetener.
