AIngredients
  • 1 tbspbutter
  • 1/3 cupblanched almond flour
  • 1large egg
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1 pinchsalt
BMethod
  1. Melt the butter. Microwave butter in a microwave-safe mug until melted, about 15 seconds. Swirl to coat the inside of the mug.
  2. Mix the batter. Add almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt directly into the mug. Whisk with a fork until smooth.
  3. Microwave. Cook on high for 90 seconds. The bread will puff up and set.
  4. Cool and slice. Let it cool 2 minutes, then tip out of the mug. Slice in half for sandwich bread or toast slices.

For sandwich bread, slice horizontally into two rounds and toast in a dry pan for 30 seconds per side. The slight crunch makes all the difference. Add 1/2 tsp of everything bagel seasoning to the batter for an instant upgrade.
