Salad

AIngredients
  • 1 1/2 lbshredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 cupsred grapes, cut in half
  • 1/2 cupcelery, diced
  • 1/2 cuppecans, finely chopped, optional
  • 2 tbspfresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbspgreen onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cupmayonnaise
  • 1 tbspDijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tbsplemon juice, use 2 tbsp if you like it extra tangy
  • 1/2 tspsea salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper

BMethod
  1. Combine the base. In a large bowl, toss together the shredded chicken, halved grapes, celery, pecans, dill, and green onions.
  2. Whisk the dressing. In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Bring it together. Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir until everything's evenly coated. Taste and add more salt or pepper if it needs it.
  4. Serve or chill. Eat it right away, or refrigerate for an hour first. The flavors get noticeably better with a little rest.
